Pause Studio Fort Lauderdale is the first South Florida outpost of the Los Angeles wellness chain, open since spring 2025 on E Oakland Park Boulevard near Coral Ridge. The space is calm and Scandinavian in feel, built around private rooms: infrared sauna suites, Contrast suites that pair the infrared sauna with a cold plunge, a whole-body cryotherapy chamber, and a soundproof float pod holding over 1,200 pounds of Epsom salt. LED light beds, Normatec compression, vitamin shots and IV drips round out the menu. Everything is booked by appointment through the Pause app or website, and sessions are priced in credits: a 30-minute sauna is 3 credits, a 30-minute Contrast session 4 and a 60-minute Contrast 6, with cryo, LED and compression at 1 credit each. Monthly memberships run from Core ($159 for 12 credits) up to VIP ($479 for 50 credits), all with guest passes for sauna or contrast, and first-timers get 30% off their first service. It suits anyone who wants hot and cold in total privacy, and couples or friends who want to share a suite. The draw here is range: you can stack a contrast round with a float, cryo or light bed in one visit, which makes Pause more of a recovery menu than a single-purpose sauna studio.
