PLUNJ Paradise Valley

10645 N Tatum Blvd, Suite C600, Phoenix, AZ

PLUNJ Paradise Valley is the Utah-born Nordic contrast-therapy chain's first Arizona studio, tucked into the Paradise Valley Village center on North Tatum Boulevard in northeast Phoenix. The format is deliberately simple: one communal dry sauna on an electric stove running 175-190°F at roughly 20% humidity (pour water on the stones when you want steam), a warm rinse, and a communal cold plunge pool held at 45-50°F that fits four people at once, with a rest area, complimentary herbal tea, electrolytes and water between rounds. PLUNJ calls it The Regimen: hot for 10-15 minutes, cold for 30 seconds to 5 minutes, rest, repeat three times. Every visit is a reserved 60-minute session with full access to the sauna and plunge, booked online, in the PLUNJ app or by phone, and you can book for several guests at once. The studio does not print a single-session price on its site; instead it leans on Momence memberships and passes: a 5-visit punch pass for $150, a 10-visit pass for $300, an Unlimited Week for $65, and Founder's memberships of $65 (4 visits), $125 (8 visits) or $190 (unlimited) a month. Bring a swimsuit, a water bottle and sandals; towels, lockers, private bathrooms with showers and toiletries are provided, and the space is tech-free, so phones stay silenced. Minimum age is 14, and 14-17 year-olds need an adult with them plus a parental waiver. Groups can buy out the whole space in one-, two- or three-hour blocks, which makes it a popular pick for teams and birthday rounds. Parking is free in the center's lot, and first-timers should arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign the location waiver.
