Pure Sweat Sauna Studio The Gulch

812 Division St, Nashville, TN

Pure Sweat Sauna Studio The Gulch is the downtown studio of the Nashville-born Pure Sweat brand, a 1,300-square-foot space on Division Street at the edge of the Gulch, a short walk from the Frist and the Broadway honky-tonks. Founder Candice Bruder opened it in January 2024 as her third company-owned Nashville studio, and it was the first of hers to add cold. Seven suites sit behind a bright, cafe-style lobby with a leafy wall mural, rattan pendants and a retail counter: six hold a Sunlighten full-spectrum infrared cabin, and the seventh is a contrast therapy suite that pairs an infrared sauna with a BlueCube cold plunge deep enough to go under head and all, with a current that keeps the water moving. Infrared sessions run 45 minutes in your own cabin, which arrives pre-heated to around 145°F (staff will lower it on request), with chromotherapy lighting and a screen for shows or guided meditation; wear workout clothes or nothing at all, and expect a chilled peppermint cloth and water on the way out. The contrast session is 60 minutes of alternating heat and 47-52°F water with breathwork and sound built in, finished in the suite's ensuite shower, and swimwear is required in the plunge. Suites can be shared with one guest. The studio opened with an infrared 3-pack for $95, a contrast 3-pack for $199 and founding memberships of four infrared sessions for $99 a month or four contrast sessions for $239; current single-session and membership rates are quoted on the Mindbody booking page and change with monthly specials, and new-client offers run at every Nashville studio. HSA/FSA cards work through Truemed, parking is free for 90 minutes, and reviewers single out the staff and how calm the place feels for being downtown.
