RESET Mind & Body Uptown is the original studio of a Phoenix-born recovery chain, opened in January 2022 on North 7th Street between Bethany Home and Maryland and still the flagship. Founder Tim Pacatte, a restaurateur and former F45 franchisee, built the concept around five modalities under one roof: Normatec compression, LED red light rooms, individual infrared saunas, cold tubs held at 42°F or lower, and a warm hydrotherapy tub at about 104°F. The pitch from day one was to take recovery tools that had belonged to pro athletes and the very wealthy and sell them by the hour in a clean, bright strip-front studio. A visit is a roughly one-hour, self-paced circuit the brand calls the RESET Method: Normatec compression on legs, hips or arms (about 15 minutes), a red light room lined with more than 1,800 red and infrared LEDs (10 minutes), the infrared sauna (10-15 minutes), the cold tub (1-3 minutes, ideally twice) and the warm tub (3-10 minutes). A first visit is $40 and includes all five modalities; after that a single session is $50. Memberships are tiered by visits: Essential $49 a month for 2 sessions, Essential+ $69 for 2 with rollover, Foundation $129 for 4, Pro $169 for 8 and Elite $229 for unlimited visits, cancellable on 30 days' notice. Session packs run 5 for $150, 10 for $250 or 20 for $400, all including red light and valid 3, 6 and 12 months respectively. Memberships carry a three-month minimum, then roll month to month. Hours are the same every weekday, 6 AM to 1 PM and again 3 PM to 8 PM, with a 9 AM to 4 PM day on Saturday and Sunday; book through the RESET app or online, or call ahead to check for a free slot. This is the location local press covered when RESET was 'newly opened' in May 2022, and it is where the brand's membership community started before it spread across the Valley and into Colorado. Showers with toiletries, lockers, a changing room and towels are on site, parking is in the lot out front, and the whole hour is designed so a first-timer can be walked through each station by staff.
