Restore + Revive is a functional-medicine clinic that happens to have a sauna and an ice bath, not a bathhouse with a nurse on staff, and that is the point of it. Founded in 2020 by family nurse practitioner Dabney Poorter in a house on Byers Avenue, it moved three doors down in 2023 into a purpose-built two-story, 7,000-square-foot building by Ibañez Shaw Architecture, with a metallic facade, big glass and an upstairs balcony, where physicians, nurse practitioners and a pediatric team share the halls with the wellness therapies. The thermal side is small and private: a two-person infrared sauna with preset programs, and a Dreampod ice bath chilled into the 40s, bookable on their own or as a contrast pairing; around them sit hyperbaric oxygen, IV drips and a shot bar, ozone, NAD+, red-light therapy and the Revive Room of zero-gravity chairs. This suits someone who wants heat and cold inside a clinical, unhurried setting rather than a social sauna, or who is pairing a plunge with an IV or a provider visit. Sessions are by appointment in the Vagaro booking widget on the site; an infrared session is $39 (packs bring it to about $31), a plunge is $25 and the sauna-plus-plunge contrast session is $50. Robes, towels and a private shower are provided; bring a swimsuit and a water bottle. Wellness hours run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, until 7 p.m. Thursday and to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with Sunday closed. Memberships are therapy-credit bundles: the $289 Balance tier adds unlimited infrared sauna and the $519 Elevate tier adds unlimited cold plunge as well, alongside IVs and foot soaks. The staff describe the whole building as one connected path, and the sauna pages read that way, recommending a DermaShape lymphatic session or a drip after the heat rather than a beer. A second center is planned for Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, in 2027.
