Rock Spa fills 42,000 square feet of the Guitar Hotel at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, one of the largest spas in South Florida. The locker rooms hold a Finnish sauna lined with low-conductivity wood, a eucalyptus steam room and hot tubs, and the co-ed spa atrium is where it gets interesting for contrast therapy: a lap pool, hot and cold plunge pools, a jetted HydroSpa and a Himalayan salt room under a sun-drenched glass roof, with dry and wet lounges around them. The spa is open to non-hotel guests by appointment, and the official page says spa day passes are sold for the facilities, but no day-pass price is published, so call the spa (954-488-6999) to book and confirm what a pass costs. Booking a treatment also brings access to the thermal areas. Locals who come often can join the Rock Spa membership: Gold at $370 a month (plus a $500 activation) includes a monthly 50-minute massage or facial and weekly Spa Lounge and Thermal Experience day passes, and Platinum at $470 steps up to 80-minute services. Guests under 18 are not allowed in the spa. Hours are listed as 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. It is the rare South Florida hotel spa with a true cold plunge, wrapped in the full Hard Rock spectacle of the guitar-shaped tower and casino next door.
