SweatHouz Assembly Row

385 Revolution Dr Suite 1141, Somerville, MA

SweatHouz Assembly Row was the chain's first Massachusetts studio, opened in 2022 on the ground floor of the FitRow block at Assembly Row in Somerville, a short walk from the Assembly Orange Line stop. As of autumn 2026 it is closed for a renovation that brings it up to the brand's newer format: instead of an hour split between an infrared sauna room and a separate cold-plunge room, each private suite will hold the infrared cabin, the cold plunge tub and the vitamin C shower together so you can move between heat and cold at will. Franchise owner Nico Varano told local press in mid-October 2026 that the studio should reopen in roughly two months, which points to around the end of 2026. When it reopens, expect the standard SweatHouz pattern: 60-minute private sessions booked by start time, an infrared cabin that runs about 140-150°F and can be pushed toward 175°F from the panel, a plunge near 48-55°F, a TV in the suite, towels and shower products provided, and a $50 intro session with $90 drop-ins, session packs from $169 and memberships from $99 to $349 a month that work at any SweatHouz. Guests must be 18 unless accompanied by an adult, and a second person can share a suite for a guest fee. Prior reviewers liked the beauty bar for getting ready afterward and the 6 a.m. opening; a few complained about plunge-water cleanliness in the old setup, one of the things the rebuild is meant to address. This listing is a placeholder until the renovated studio reopens; the hours and in-suite details above describe the studio as it operated before closing and the brand standard it is being rebuilt to.
