SweatHouz Camp Bowie

6252 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, TX

SweatHouz Camp Bowie opened in late April 2025 on the brick stretch of Camp Bowie Boulevard next to Jason's Deli, the chain's first Fort Worth studio and the one closest to the Cultural District, Dickies Arena, TCU and the Clearfork shops. It is a contrast therapy studio built on the newer SweatHouz template: private suites that each contain a full-spectrum infrared sauna with adjustable heat, a cold plunge tub kept around 48-55°F, a vitamin C-infused shower and a TV with Bluetooth. Camp Bowie also runs standalone red light therapy, 14-to-16-minute sessions you can tack onto a contrast hour or book on their own. The hour usually goes like this: 20 minutes in the sauna somewhere between 140 and 170°F, a rinse, two to five minutes in the tub, back to the heat, and repeat until the timer runs out. A first visit is $25 (red light intro also $25), a drop-in is $70 and a red light session $50, packs run $129 to $599, and memberships go from $79 for two sessions a month to $249 unlimited with four guest passes a month; HSA/FSA cards are accepted. Bring a swimsuit and loose clothes, a book or earbuds if you would rather not stream, and give yourself a modest goal for the first plunge. Doors open at 6 a.m. on weekdays, the earliest of any SweatHouz in the metro, and parking is free right in front. Reviewers from Arlington Heights, Ridglea, Tanglewood and Westover Hills describe the place as calm and spotless, with staff who walk nervous first-timers through the room, and the plunge as the shock that keeps them coming back.
