SweatHouz Hingham is a private contrast-therapy studio where every booking is your own suite for a full hour: an infrared sauna cabin, a single-person cold plunge and a vitamin C shower behind one door, used in whatever order and for however long you like. The sauna defaults to 140°F and can be pushed to 175°F from the panel inside, the plunge is held at 48-50°F, and the shower runs through a vitamin C cartridge that strips chlorine from the water. The studio is at The Launch at Hingham Shipyard, the waterfront retail village by the marina and the Hingham commuter ferry, so it draws from Weymouth, Cohasset, Hull, Norwell and Quincy as much as Hingham itself. It suits people who want the sauna-and-plunge routine without a shared room: first-timers, couples or friends sharing a suite (a guest can be added online or at the desk for a fee), and anyone who treats recovery as a standing appointment. Sessions are 60 minutes and arriving late shortens them. A first visit is $50, a Double Dose two-session intro is $59 and a regular drop-in is $90; packs run 3-pack $169 (60 days), 5-pack $259, 10-pack $449 and 20-pack $799 (6 months; 10- and 20-packs shareable with one partner 18+), and monthly memberships go Launch $99 (2 sessions), Reset $169 (4), Elevate $269 (8) and Unlimited $349 with four guest passes a month, all bookable in the SweatHouz app. Wear whatever is comfortable in the sauna (many go towel-only) and swimwear or spandex shorts for the plunge; two towels and shower products are in the suite, so you only need a change of clothes. Memberships need 30 days' written notice to cancel. Hingham is one of the newer Massachusetts studios from franchisee-turned-CEO Nico Varano's group, and its early reviews (late 2025 into 2026) are almost uniformly 9s and 10s, praising the staff walkthrough for first-timers and how clean and quiet the suites are; the one recurring note is that the suite floor gets slippery between plunge and shower, so step carefully.
