SweatHouz Plano is the chain's original Dallas-Fort Worth studio, opened in the summer of 2021 inside The Shops at Legacy East on Legacy Drive, a short pull-off from the Dallas North Tollway. It launched as a pure infrared sauna studio: about 2,000 square feet carved into twelve private suites, one of them a group sauna, each with a full-spectrum infrared cabin, adjustable chromotherapy light, a screen for streaming and an ensuite vitamin C-infused shower. Cold plunge arrived later as the brand pivoted to contrast therapy, and here it is bookable as its own plunge session rather than sitting inside every sauna suite the way it does at the newer DFW studios. Sessions are an hour in your own room, roughly 45 minutes of sweating and 15 to rinse and dress, and you book a slot through the SweatHouz app. A first visit is $25, a single sauna hour runs $40 and a cold plunge $20, with 3- to 20-session packs from $109 and monthly memberships from $79 for two visits up to $199 unlimited, which also comes with four guest passes a month. The pricing is friendlier than the chain's purpose-built contrast studios in Frisco and Coppell, which makes Plano the easy first try if you are curious about infrared but not sold on the ice. Bring a swimsuit if you plan to plunge, loose clothes for after, and plan to eat lightly beforehand. Reviewers single out the privacy and the calm: one room, one door, no shared benches, and a quiet, spa-like front desk. Weekday hours start at 7 a.m. for the before-work crowd, and the studio draws from Frisco, Allen, Carrollton and The Colony as much as from Plano itself.
