SweatHouz Preston Royal sits in the Preston Royal shopping center at Preston Road and Royal Lane, the Preston Hollow location of the private-suite contrast chain now branded SWTHZ. It opened in 2023 with eight suites, and each is a complete hot-cold circuit behind one door: a full-spectrum infrared sauna with a screen and adjustable heat, a cold plunge tub kept around 50°F and a vitamin C-infused shower. The studio also added a hydromassage lounger and Celluma red light panels, so a visit can stretch beyond the sauna and tub. Every booking is a 60-minute private session; most guests warm up in the sauna, rinse, plunge, and repeat two or three times. The booking page lists a $25 intro session for first-timers, $40 for a single sweat, $20 for a plunge-only slot and $49 for a double dose, with monthly memberships for two, four or unlimited sessions (reviewers quote a tier around $150 a month with rollover sessions). Reservations are required and the app lets you book up to a week out. Bring a swimsuit or spandex shorts for the tub; towels and a beauty bar with hair dryers are provided, and staff will walk a nervous first-timer through the plunge. Reviews consistently single out the front desk for explaining the process and for keeping the suites spotless. Weekday doors open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.; Friday through Sunday the studio runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
