SweatHouz Salt River
8930 N 90th St, Suite 121, Scottsdale, AZ
SweatHouz Salt River (styled SWTHZ) is a private-suite contrast therapy studio on North 90th Street in Scottsdale, near the Loop 101 and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa line, and the first Arizona studio in the fast-growing SweatHouz franchise. Franchisee Jake Golic, a former Notre Dame athlete and longtime Orangetheory operator, opened it in September 2025 with his family on the day-to-day team. Instead of a communal bathhouse, each guest gets a locked suite with a full-spectrum infrared sauna adjustable from 140-175°F, a 48-50°F cold plunge tub, a vitamin C-infused shower and an in-suite screen for music or video, with a soft LED countdown and mood lighting so you never watch a clock or share a bench. A session is 60 minutes in your suite, booked ahead online; you alternate heat and cold however you like, and the suite is cleaned between every guest. A standard drop-in is $70 and a first-time intro session is $35 (a plus-one adds $25), with packs of 3-pack $129, 5-pack $199, 10-pack $349 or 20-pack $599 (the two bigger packs are shareable with one adult partner), or monthly memberships: Launch 2 sessions $79, Reset 4 sessions $129, Elevate 8 sessions $199 and Unlimited $249 with four guest passes a month. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are stocked in each suite, many guests sauna in just a towel and plunge in swimwear or spandex shorts, and the booking calendar shows slots from about 6:30 AM to 7 PM. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to co-sign the waiver. It is a good fit for couples or a friend pair who want contrast therapy without a crowd, and reviewers single out the cleanliness and the franchise owners' hands-on welcome. Red light therapy is not offered here (a point regulars have asked about), and memberships bought here work at any SWTHZ studio nationwide.
