SweatHouz SouthPark is the Charlotte studio of the national private contrast-therapy chain (now branded SWTHZ), tucked into Sharon Square on Ashley Park Lane a short walk from SouthPark mall. There is no shared floor here: you book a private suite with its own full-spectrum infrared sauna, a personal cold plunge tub held around 48-55°F, a vitamin-C infused shower and streaming entertainment, and lock the door for an hour of heat, cold and rinse on your own terms. Sessions run up to 60 minutes and must be booked ahead. A first intro session is $35 (a double-dose intro is $49), a single drop-in is around $60, and memberships start at $79 a month for two sessions or $129 for four, with 3- and 5-packs for occasional visitors. A friend can share your suite for an added plus-one fee, which makes it an easy low-key date. Towels are provided; bring swimwear if you are sharing. Free garage parking is available in the Sharon Square deck, and doors open at 6 a.m. on weekdays for a before-work session. It is a good fit for people who like infrared's gentler heat and want privacy rather than a social bathhouse, and the cold tub right inside the suite means you never have to walk a hallway dripping wet.
