The District is a recovery studio and professional suites building on East Plumb Lane, run by owner Leah Wooster, a cancer survivor who leaned on infrared sauna, compression and cold plunging during her own recovery. Its performance recovery side offers three straightforward tools: an infrared sauna, a cold plunge and air-compression boots, booked as individual appointments. The rest of the building rents private suites to independent beauty, wellness and health practitioners. No membership or commitment is required: book a session online through Square, or call or text to schedule or to tour. It is open weekdays 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday mornings until 1 p.m. Prices are not published online, so ask when you book. The studio has an athletic streak, sponsoring the Nevada Storm women's tackle football team with compression, sauna and ice-bath recovery, which makes it a practical stop for anyone working through training soreness.
