The Spa at Camelback Inn (JW Marriott)

5402 E Lincoln Dr, Paradise Valley, AZ

The Spa at Camelback Inn reopened in late January 2026 after a $25 million rebuild of the 32,000-square-foot spa at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn in Paradise Valley, and the thermal side is now the centerpiece. Indoors is a self-guided Wellness Circuit: a Himalayan salt sauna, an aromatherapy steam cavern, a cold plunge, limestone infrared loungers and a sunlit solarium with a vitality pool. Outdoors, launched in February 2026, are the Wellness Waters, three pools in a multi-temperature loop named Flow (warm), Still (a mineral-rich salt pool) and Chill (a cold plunge), with Camelback Mountain as the backdrop. Twenty treatment rooms, a Stillness Lounge with zero-gravity loungers, a co-ed Sanctuary lounge and Ora Café round it out. For a non-hotel guest there are two routes. Booking any treatment includes complimentary access to the Wellness Waters and, per the resort's spa page, the thermal circuit; treatments are priced at the top of the market (a 60-minute Ultimate HydraFacial starts around $375). Or buy the Wellness Pass through ResortPass, from about $250 per adult, which covers the hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, relaxation lounges, locker rooms, towels and the spa fitness facility from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 20 percent service charge collected at the spa desk. Day guests must be 18 or older; children are admitted only as hotel guests. Wellness classes are free with a treatment reservation. The cheaper $40 resort day pass is pools only and does not include the spa. The design, by EDG with DesignOne Studio, uses lime-washed plaster, travertine and Jerusalem Gold limestone, hand-built ceramic cacti and agave-fiber chandeliers, and it is the most expensive spa-pass ticket in the Valley, aimed squarely at people who want a full day in the circuit rather than an hour.
