The Spa at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort is a 22,000-square-foot spa at the south end of the beach, on what the resort bills as South Florida's largest private beach. The men's and women's locker rooms each have a sauna, a eucalyptus-scented steam room and a whirlpool, and outside there is an adults-only spa pool and jacuzzi set apart from the family pools. A co-ed relaxation room with complimentary refreshments rounds it out. There is no cold plunge. You cannot buy a heat-only pass here: the thermal areas and the adults-only spa pool come with a booked treatment, and treatment guests may stay for the day. On ResortPass, non-guests can book a 50-minute Harbor Beach Classic Massage with spa access from about $165, a signature facial from about $175, or a manicure and pedicure with spa pool access from about $150; couples massages run about $380 for two. Those packages are for adults 18 and over, and several include free valet. The spa is open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with poolside food and drink Friday through Sunday afternoons. Plan it as a full day: arrive early, do a sauna and steam round before your treatment, and spend the afternoon by the adults-only pool.
