The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale is a compact, polished spa in the oceanfront tower on A1A, designed by London's Tara Bernerd & Partners in marble, pale woods, rattan and antique brass. The thermal side lives in the gendered locker areas: saunas lined with Himalayan salt walls, aromatherapy steam rooms and ice fountains for scooping chipped ice onto your skin between rounds, plus an experiential shower and quiet relaxation lounges off six treatment rooms. There is no standalone spa pass. The heat and steam come with a treatment: book 60 minutes or more and you can use the spa facilities for the rest of the day, and the spa is adults 18+. Non-guests can book this way through ResortPass, where a 50-minute massage with spa access and the adults-only and family pools starts around $285 (couples from $570); the hotel's own Day Spa & Pool Retreat adds lunch and the gym but runs Monday to Thursday only, with spring blackout dates. Book ahead by phone (754-336-3100), the Four Seasons app or ResortPass, and come early to sit in the salt sauna before your appointment. This is a treatment-first spa rather than a bathing circuit, so come for a massage and treat the salt sauna, steam and ice as the long, unhurried bookend to it.
