The Spa at Four Seasons Troon North
10600 E Crescent Moon Dr, Scottsdale, AZ
The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is a 12,000-square-foot spa in the Pinnacle Peak foothills of far north Scottsdale, at the edge of the Troon North golf courses. The heat is traditional and tucked away: each single-sex changing room has its own dry sauna, eucalyptus steam room and relaxation room, with large showers and grooming products, and a cool, dark lounge where you wait before a treatment. There is no cold plunge. Beyond the spa doors are three heated saltwater pools, including an adults-only negative-edge pool, and a hot adults-only soaking pool at the main pool deck. Non-hotel guests get in through a treatment. ResortPass sells a Custom Massage or Custom Facial Treatment + Day Pass from $240 (a 60-minute service, plus a 20 percent service charge collected on site) that includes the saunas and steam rooms, the fitness center, the locker rooms, robe, slippers and towels, snacks, teas and water, a glass of prosecco afterward and the resort pools for the day; the resort's standalone Day Pass (from $125) is pools-only and is not described as including the spa. Half- and full-day packages and a Massage 101 class are also on the menu, and you can book direct at 480-513-5145 or online. Resort guests have the spa facilities folded into the resort fee. Cancel at least four hours ahead to avoid a charge. The treatments lean on the desert: saguaro-blossom facials, Sedona clay body masks, a cocoa mole wrap, and a golfers' massage done with warmed golf balls. Spa hours are not published online, and one reviewer reported the sauna and steam room out of service on a visit, so confirm both when you book.
