The Spa at Silver Legacy

The Spa at Silver Legacy fills the whole fourth floor of the Silver Legacy resort, connected to the casinos in downtown Reno. It opened in 2018 as a 21,000-square-foot spa, and its wet areas are larger than most in the city: two saunas, two steam rooms, seven hydrotherapy soaking tubs and a jacuzzi. It also has a Himalayan salt inhalation room, three relaxation lounges and two private hospitality suites for groups. This is a treatment-led spa. There is no published standalone day pass, so plan on booking a massage, facial or body treatment (the Tahoe Trilogy salt scrub is the signature) and arriving early to use the sauna, steam and tubs before or after. Third-party listings currently show the spa open Thursday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and closed Monday through Wednesday. Book ahead, especially for weekends, and call to confirm hours, since they have changed more than once since the pandemic. Golf the High Sierra sells spa-and-golf packages that bundle a 60-minute treatment and full amenity access with 18 holes. Three couples suites and the private group suites make it a natural pick for a downtown bachelorette or anniversary day, and it is the easiest resort spa to reach on foot if you are staying near the Arch.
