The Spa at The Crescent

400 Crescent Ct, Dallas, TX

The Spa at The Crescent is the 22,000-square-foot spa and wellness center inside Hotel Crescent Court, the Philip Johnson-designed limestone landmark at the foot of Uptown. The thermal facilities are split by sex: the men's and women's lounges each hold a dry sauna, a steam room, a whirlpool and a hot-and-cold plunge, with relaxation rooms, a nail salon and a spa lounge serving light food beyond them. The look is classic rather than trendy, marble and soft lighting from the 2018 renovation, and the women's side in particular reads as the old-school ladies' lounge of a grand hotel. You do not need a room or a treatment to use the heat and water: the hotel sells a Spa Pass through ResortPass, from about $65 depending on the date, that covers the steam, sauna, whirlpool and cold plunge, the Technogym wellness center, a glass of champagne, complimentary valet and 25 percent off a 50-minute treatment or lunch at the spa. It is adults 21 and over, it does not include the hotel's second-floor pool, and any treatment of 50 minutes or more also opens the facilities to you. The spa itself keeps hotel hours, 9 to 7 Monday through Saturday and 9 to 6 on Sunday, with the amenity areas opening earlier for hotel guests. Weekends book up, so reserve a date rather than walking in. For a sauna-and-plunge person this is the most complete of the Uptown hotel circuits at the lowest pass price, and recent pass holders describe it as clean, quiet and well staffed. The one caveat from 2026 reviews is maintenance: the women's cold plunge was reported out of service in early September, so it is worth a call before you go if the cold is the point of the visit.
