The Spa at The Global Ambassador

4360 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ

The Spa at The Global Ambassador is the 16,000-square-foot spa inside restaurateur Sam Fox's European-styled hotel on Camelback Road, opened in April 2024 a few months after the hotel itself. The thermal facilities live in the gender-separated locker rooms and are built for a hot-cold loop: a Finnish dry sauna, a eucalyptus steam room, a hot plunge or jacuzzi and a cold plunge, with a hosted beauty bar and complimentary refreshments on the way out. Ten treatment rooms carry a biohacking-leaning menu, from a Structural Longevity Massage with infrared heat to whole-body cryotherapy, IV drips and Augustinus Bader facials that the spa says are exclusive to Arizona. There is no day pass. Access for anyone, hotel guest or not, comes with a massage, facial or body treatment of 60 minutes or longer, which unlocks up to four hours in the locker-room facilities in addition to the treatment time; a couples massage adds joint access to the cold plunge and jacuzzi. The spa and fitness facilities are limited to guests 18 and older, and parties of five or more book by phone. Treatment prices are on the spa's PDF menu rather than the web page and sit at the luxury end of the Phoenix market. Note that the spa's own page currently says the steam rooms are temporarily closed for enhancements, so if steam is the point of your visit, call first. With the adjoining 9,000-square-foot fitness club, two outdoor wellness decks and Arizona's first Forma Pilates studio, this is the city's most clubby resort spa, aimed at a Camelback crowd that treats recovery as a social activity.
