The Spa at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead

3376 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA

The Spa at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is a roughly 15,000-square-foot hotel spa spread over multiple levels of the Buckhead tower on Peachtree Road. The thermal side is split by gender: the men's and women's areas each have their own dry sauna, steam room, vitality whirlpool and relaxation lounge, and everyone shares the 60-foot indoor saline lap pool. There is no cold plunge, so the cool-down is the pool or a shower. You do not need a room to get in. The Spa Pass, sold through ResortPass from about $150 for adults 18 and over, covers the saline pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam, fitness center and lounges, with a welcome glass of champagne and poolside food and drink by phone order; treatment bundles (a 50-minute massage or facial plus the pass) start around $260, and yoga, recovery-room and new-moon sound-bath packages also include spa time. The spa runs 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; bring a photo ID and your confirmation to the hotel front desk, and plan on valet parking for a fee. Recent ResortPass notes say the ladies' steam room is out of service and some guests found the whirlpool down, so call the spa before a visit built around the heat. This is the polished, quiet end of Atlanta's sauna options: robes, a 13-room treatment floor with a couples suite, and a pool deck that feels more like a private club than a gym. It suits a slow birthday or anniversary afternoon more than a hard contrast session.
