The St. Regis Atlanta Spa is a 6,000-square-foot spa on the sixth floor of the Buckhead hotel on West Paces Ferry Road. Its heat is small but distinctive: a Himalayan salt stone sauna lined with salt blocks and a eucalyptus-infused steam room, set within separate men's and women's lounges where spa valets bring tea and treats. Ten treatment rooms include a couples suite and a Vichy shower room; there is no cold plunge. There is no day pass: access with a treatment. Anyone with a spa appointment can use the sauna, steam and lounges from 30 minutes before the service until 15 minutes after it ends, so treat the heat as a warm-up and wind-down rather than an afternoon on its own. The salt-stone sauna is the reason to choose this spa over the city's bigger hotel spas: it is one of very few in Atlanta, and it pairs naturally with a long massage at the polished end of Buckhead.
