Viva Day Spa + Med Spa Morningside

1402 N Highland Ave NE, Suite 1, Atlanta, GA

This Morningside day spa at North Highland Avenue and University Drive is temporarily closed for a complete renovation and is due to reopen in January 2027 as Viva Day Spa + Med Spa. For almost 40 years it was the flagship of Natural Body Spa, a local institution. In 2026 Natural Body picked the Austin-based Viva brand to carry the business forward, and this is the first location to convert. It closed on July 20, 2026 to be rebuilt from the ground up. The new spa is adding an infrared sauna and a new relaxation lounge, plus refreshed treatment rooms, Duet Rooms for couples, a wider menu of massages and facials, a Korean glass skin treatment, clinical skincare lines such as SkinCeuticals, and medical aesthetics. The infrared sauna comes with spa services; this is not a sauna-only drop-in venue. Prices, sauna access rules and hours for the new spa have not been published. During the closure, the Morningside massage therapists, estheticians and injectors are seeing guests at Natural Body's Brookhaven and Smyrna locations. Call 404-609-0060 to book there in the meantime.
