Well House is a holistic wellness studio in the Mountaingate area of south Reno, started by a group of medical professionals, with private full-spectrum infrared sauna suites at its center. The saunas are oversized, low-EMF cabins using near, mid and far infrared at a gentle 110-135°F, and each suite comes with chromotherapy lighting, Bluetooth audio and a TV, and a chilled aromatherapy towel. A contrast therapy session adds a cold dip between rounds of heat, and the menu also covers a salt (halotherapy) room, red light therapy, massage, organic facials and functional health care. It is a good fit for first-timers and anyone who prefers a private, lower-heat sweat. You get the suite for 50 minutes, up to 40 of them in the sauna; book through Boulevard, by phone or text, with the last sauna starting an hour before close. A sauna or salt drop-in is $40 at any time, contrast therapy is $79, and packs run from 4 for $139 to 20 for $429. Memberships (three-month minimum) start at $99 a month for 4 sessions, with unlimited infrared and salt at $199 and the top RENEW tier at $249 adding contrast credits; health-care workers, first responders, military, teachers and students get $10 a month off. Add a friend to your suite for $20-25. The sauna studio is closed on Wednesdays, when only massage and facials run by appointment.
