Yoga Cold Bath

3820 W Happy Valley Rd Ste C-143, Glendale, AZ

Yoga Cold Bath is a neighborhood wellness club in a Happy Valley Road plaza on the Glendale-North Phoenix line, founded by Sarah and Brooks Maschmeier, local parents who built it as a woman-owned, community-first studio and call it Arizona's largest contrast studio. The circuit is real heat and real ice: a Swedish-style cedar dry sauna with stones at 150-190°F (deliberately not infrared), a row of Morozko Forge ice baths that can be dialed anywhere from 32°F to 52°F, a salt-water hot tub, a 520nm green light room for calming the nervous system, a red light lounge and Therabody JetBoots compression. All stations are optional and taken in any order. A drop-in contrast circuit is $40 and a yoga class $20; the Basic membership is $75 a month for four yoga classes or circuits, and Unlimited is $120 for unlimited circuits and yoga plus a monthly guest pass and 10 percent off retail, with no long-term contract. Bookings run through Momence (the studio replaced ClassPass with its own YCB Credits punch pass in late October 2026). Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 to 4 Friday through Sunday. Bring a swimsuit and water; towels are free for members. The schedule mixes Flow, Heated, Yin, Restorative and foam-roller recovery classes with guided reset events such as a Friday power-yoga, sauna and ice-bath session. The studio leans into being a local hub, sponsoring school teams and running Adopt-a-Family drives, and most members live within 20 minutes. Reviewers single out the sauna-and-plunge circuit, the jacuzzi and how clean the place is kept; the cleaning schedule is published on the website.
