Tribe Performance — known until recently as Tribe Cold Plunge — is a veteran-owned recovery studio in Chula Vista's Eastlake area. The studio keeps it to three tools: cold plunges held at 39 to 41 degrees, a traditional steam sauna that runs hot, and HyperIce compression. Founded in 2024 by a Navy veteran, it is built for athletes, first responders and parents who want recovery as a weekly habit rather than a one-off. Pricing is among the lowest in the county: $25 for a single session, a $69 two-week unlimited trial for locals, and $149 a month for unlimited access with no initiation fee. The studio runs split hours Monday to Thursday (5am to 11am and 4pm to 9pm), mornings only on Friday and Saturday, and is closed Sunday.
